ABOUT LWDSTC

Our Vision

Living Water Destiny School of Theological is a learning community established on Biblical Revelation, dedicated to teaching, training, and transforming the whole person for the ministry of the local church and global ministries at large. This motivation is accomplished through our partnership with the Lord of the Church and the local churches to nurture Christ-like servant leaders who will joyfully use their spiritual gifts in their local churches and communities. We seek to build saints who reverence Christ’s glorious supremacy over all things, passionate to spread the glory of Christ to all peoples, constrained by the love of Christ and God-centered ministry. Saints devoted to God’s design for the family and the creation order, characterized by faith, vision, and prayer.

 Educational Philosophy

The philosophy of our existence is to equip lay leaders and pastors to better serve the church in propagating the Kingdom of God on earth. It is our duty to develop teachers and church leaders who will train God’s people for the ministry of the church. We take the knowledge of biblical doctrines and the preaching of the Word seriously because it is what God uses for the building of His church, the advancement of the gospel and his Kingdom, the glorifying Christ in the world and the betterment of human communities. Preaching in the power of the Spirit (Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:4-5; Ephesians 6:19-21). We want to see teaching and learning transforming our thoughts, emotions, intuitions and experiences in the African context, making sure that the knowledge we offer affects lives and communities for Christ. We seek to see that class room 2 ideas are related to the context and ministry dreams and challenges of our students. We seek to develop effective pastors, teachers and lay leaders who are disciple-makers and reproducers of men, as well as under -shepherds who love and care about God’s flock. Servant hood is our watch word. We have a servant hood philosophy of Theological education which is steward of Spiritual gifts, opportunities and resources entrusted to us by God. We strive to serve our students as we serve Christ our master and his church. Theological Education that is not practical is dead and useless just as faith without works is dead. We hold that effective pastoral training must strict a balance between academics and practical ministry.
